Eligas is designed and build in 1993 by owner Andreas Kapasakis.
Together with his wife Thalia they run the house in their own very warm family way. Not only that is a reason for lots of loyal guests to return each year. They like also the quiet location, despite its only 100 meter from the centre, 100 meter from the port, and only 200 meter from the sandy beach with a length from about 10 km.
The amazing view from the village towards the sea, the Georgioupolis’ bay and Lefka Ori mountains, will surprise you and at the same time it will relax you.
Long before the apartments were built there was a well at that spot. At the time there was no electricity in the village. Instead of refrigerators, residents used to cool their food and drinks in the well. The well was named Eligas.
We are regularly improving our studios. Nowadays you will find among others:
- Beds that are suitable for longer persons;
- Aluminum window frames with isolated double glass throughout the entire house;
- Free WiFi
- Kitchenettes
- Satellite (flat screen) TV with some Western European channels
- We speak German & English. We read German, English & French. We write in English
